Emmanuel is 31 years old, and he recently married Naini, February 2026. They are expecting their first child soon! He is the first born in a large Maasai family in northern Tanzania. There has been no father figure for a long time. Emmanuel is the eldest, so he is responsible for the well-being of his mother and younger siblings at his Maasai village. Emmanuel and Naini live in town where the school is located. The eldest son in a Maasai family carries a lot of responsibility.
Emmanuel started Debbie’s Preschool-K in Namanga two years ago. The school started out with 8 students and now has 68 students attending and hopes to increase the number of classes. He and his wife are also running a small grocery and provide sewing services. This micro business is helping to support them.
